Children's Hospital Foundations Australia is a national partnership of uniquely child-focused Foundations supporting leading paediatric hospitals.
Our Vision is to end the suffering of sick children.
Our Mission is to support initiatives that generate breakthrough treatments and cures to make a difference in the lives of sick and terminally ill children. Each of the member Hospitals drive dynamic medical research programs that aim to find new treatments and cures for childhood disease.
The Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia partnership includes five of Australia’s oldest and most respected children’s charities:
- Royal Children's Hospital Foundation Queensland
- Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation New South Wales
- Royal Children's Hospital Foundation Victoria
- Women & Children’s Hospital Foundation South Australia
- Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation Western Australia
Children’s hospitals have independently played a vital role in our State communities for over a hundred years. Our work is respected and appreciated by many generations of children and families.
There are few people in Australia whose lives have not been, or will not be, touched by our children’s hospitals. Between us, we treat or admit over one million children each year.
For the first time in Australia’s history, the Foundations supporting these hospitals have come together as Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia to raise vital funds nationally.
This innovative partnership enables State based Children’s Hospital Foundations to access national support. It also provides sponsors with an opportunity to have their commitment and support recognised throughout Australia in association with a tangible, respected face in each state.
Working together means less duplication and better use of resources. It also means that the money raised goes where it should go – into breakthrough treatments and cures to make a difference in the lives of sick and terminally ill children.
